Having a cover is the strongest way to prevent children and pets from getting in when you cannot be there. Covers not only help keep loved ones safe; they help keep everything looking beautiful with less maintenance.
Covers are a wise investment regardless if your pool is inground or above ground. As great as a home swimming area can be, many buyers are actually turned off by the fear that the time and expense required to maintain it will be too great. Covers make maintenance a whole lot easier. Since sunlight does not penetrate the cover, a solid cover keeps algae from growing. When the weather changes, leaves change color and fall from their branches. With a cover, once on top of the cover, leaves will often blow-away.
